Talents Quest is recruiting an experienced IT Applications Owner for a full-time hybrid position in London (WC2A). This opportunity is with Pogust Goodhead, a globally recognised law firm specialising in large-scale litigation and environmental claims.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications, ensuring they remain secure, compliant, and aligned with governance and risk management standards. You will oversee system configuration, user adoption, licence management, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, technical understanding of application lifecycle management, and the ability to drive efficiency across a regulated professional services environment. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, business users, and external vendors to ensure technology investments deliver measurable value.
Hybrid working model with office presence in London.
Act as primary owner of assigned enterprise applications
Maintain system roadmaps including upgrades, integrations, and retirement plans
Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards
Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve efficiency
Identify automation and optimisation opportunities
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Design and deliver onboarding and training programmes
Develop user guides and documentation
Monitor system usage metrics and improve adoption rates
Manage licence forecasting, renewals, and cost optimisation
Maintain vendor relationships and support contract discussions
Provide technical insights during procurement processes
Oversee application support and issue resolution
Ensure change management processes are followed
Contribute to IT policies and documentation
Experience managing or administering business applications
Background in professional services or regulated environments
Strong understanding of governance and application lifecycle management
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Organised, proactive, and accountable
Experience with legal technology or document management systems
Familiarity with Jira or workflow management tools
Exposure to AI or automation platforms
Experience delivering training or leading change initiatives
