About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Solution Consultant to lead and manage a vertical consulting team focused on Datacenter and Hospitality solutions. This is a senior technical leadership role where you will drive solution development, support technical sales, and collaborate closely with innovation, sales, and product teams to deliver outcome-based solutions across multiple verticals.
You will play a key role in influencing customer success, accelerating bookings growth, and ensuring consistency of solution delivery across all Belden brands.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the vertical solution consultant team for Datacenter and Hospitality
Drive development of integrated solutions leveraging the full Belden product portfolio
Provide technical leadership and pre-sales support for complex customer applications
Increase booking success rates by delivering outcome-driven technical solutions
Translate customer requirements into scalable, value-driven solutions in collaboration with Innovation teams
Support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Define scope of services and ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales
Maintain deep technical knowledge of Belden industrial and infrastructure products
Design and support technical campaigns including webinars, trade fairs, and exhibitions
Create technical marketing content such as solution guides, case studies, videos, and application notes
Provide market and customer feedback to product management teams
Deliver technical demonstrations, presentations, and customer workshops
Travel up to 50% for customer engagements and professional development
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (IT-focused preferred)
RCDD (BICSI) certification preferred
10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure solution design
Proven expertise in Hospitality, Stadiums, and Datacenter verticals
Strong experience in structured cabling, backbone cabling, and ICT infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of smart buildings and enterprise network systems
Strong understanding of Division 27 communication systems standards
Experience in Data Center High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
Hands-on experience with OTDR, OLTS, and testing equipment
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, ACIM, and DCIM tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Fluent in English
