Benifex is seeking a Health and Risk Consultant to join its Corporate Benefits team. This role is an excellent next step for professionals progressing within broking consultancy.
You will provide end-to-end consultancy across Group Health and Group Risk benefits to a portfolio of mid to high-value corporate clients, primarily supported through Benifex’s flexible benefits platform, OneHub. The role involves managing, retaining, and growing client relationships while delivering strategic health and wellbeing solutions.
Drive profitable revenue growth across multiple service lines
Build deep understanding of client health, wellbeing, and risk strategies
Secure and lead broking meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Expand existing client relationships through cross-selling additional services
Deliver agreed services on time in line with project plans
Collaborate closely with Client Service Directors and Strategic Consultants
Attend and present at regular client meetings, including quarterly reviews
Proven commercial success managing and growing Health and Risk clients
Experience delivering consultancy advice to mid-to-large corporate customers
Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills
Financial awareness, including P&L and budgeting experience
Excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities
Strong consultative selling approach
Advanced understanding of Group Health products (PMI, Dental, Cash Plans, EAPs, Health Assessments)
Strong knowledge of Group Risk products (Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Travel, Partner Life Assurance)
IF7 and/or GR1 qualified (or working towards)
Good understanding of FCA requirements and compliance
