Care Assistant

Description

Talents Quest is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Glenrothes. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes or supported living environments, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist with meal preparation and nutritional support.
Support clients with medication reminders.
Help with light household duties and daily living tasks.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Accompany clients to appointments and community activities where required.
Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Deliver care in accordance with company policies and health & safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential.
• Caring, compassionate, and reliable personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to complete mandatory care training.
