By creating an account or using Talents Quest, you agree to the following terms.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering, including for company verification where applicable.

Candidates & Employers

Job postings must describe genuine opportunities. Candidates are expected to apply in good faith. We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these expectations, including spam, discriminatory postings, or fraudulent activity.

Assessment Interviews

Where an assessment interview requires a fee, the fee is disclosed before booking. Rescheduling and no-show terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

Project Marketplace & Escrow

Clients fund milestones through our escrow system before work begins on that milestone. Funds are released to the freelancer once the client approves the completed milestone. Talents Quest facilitates this process but is not a party to the underlying work agreement between client and freelancer — disputes over the quality or scope of delivered work should first be resolved directly between the parties. If that fails, contact us through Contact Us and we will make reasonable efforts to help mediate, though we cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

Credits & Subscriptions

Credits purchased for project bidding, and employer subscription plans, are billed as described at the time of purchase. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Talents Quest for unlawful purposes, to harass other users, to post false or misleading information, or to attempt to circumvent platform fees by moving a transaction off-platform in bad faith once it originated here.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, portfolios, project deliverables). By posting content on the platform, you grant Talents Quest a limited license to display it as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your public profile to other users).

Limitation of Liability

Talents Quest is provided "as is." We are not liable for the conduct of employers, candidates, clients, or freelancers using the platform, nor for the outcome of any job application, hire, or freelance engagement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Talents Quest is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
