Care Assistant

Description

Talents Quest is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team in Telford. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals, supporting them with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support with mobility and daily living activities.
Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Provide medication reminders where appropriate.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.
Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures.
Work flexible shifts, including weekends as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support role is preferred but not essential.
• Caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Flexible to work weekends when required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care.
