Description

Talents Quest is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide one-to-one support for an individual living in Giffnock, Glasgow. The successful candidate will deliver person-centred care, encourage independence, and assist with daily activities while promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support with daily living activities.
Assist with personal care when required.
Support community access, appointments, shopping, and social activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Encourage independence and help achieve personal goals.
Assist with meal preparation and light household duties.
Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
Ensure a safe and respectful environment while delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care, support work, or healthcare is preferred but not essential.
• Caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred support.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training if required.
