Personal Assistant – Nightshift

Description

Talents Quest is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant – Nightshift to join our care team in Glasgow. This role involves providing overnight, person-centred support to individuals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night while promoting dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overnight personal care and support when required.
Monitor the wellbeing and safety of individuals during night shifts.
Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and bedtime or morning routines.
Respond promptly to support requests and emergencies.
Maintain accurate care records and complete night reports.
Administer or remind individuals about medication where appropriate.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies.
Promote a calm, safe, and supportive environment throughout the night.

Requirements

• Previous experience in health care, social care, or support work is preferred but not essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training.
