Relief Care Assistant

Talents Quest is looking for compassionate and flexible Relief Care Assistants to join our care team in Bridgnorth. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible working hours while making a meaningful difference in the lives of people who require care and support.

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Assist with meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Support individuals with daily living activities and household tasks.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Provide medication reminders where appropriate.
Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns promptly.
Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures.
Work flexible shifts, including weekends and cover shifts as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential.
• Caring, compassionate, and reliable attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work zero-hours and weekend shifts.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
